Terms of Service — CodeSpec

1. Acceptance

By using CodeSpec, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

CodeSpec is a platform that helps you create project specifications for AI coding tools. We provide a web-based editor, AI-assisted spec generation, a marketplace of community specs, and an MCP integration for AI tools.

3. Accounts

You must authenticate via GitHub to use CodeSpec. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Plans and Billing

CodeSpec offers Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans. Free plans have limited features and project counts. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time.

5. Your Content

You own all specs and assets you create. By publishing specs to the marketplace, you grant other users a license to install and use them. You can unpublish at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

Use the service for illegal purposes
Upload malicious content or specs designed to harm systems
Attempt to access other users' data
Abuse rate limits or API access

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all your data.

8. Disclaimer

CodeSpec is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for AI-generated spec content or decisions made based on that content.
